What you can see
Revenue and orders over time
The area chart plots revenue and order counts across the selected range. Switch the grouping between daily, weekly, and monthly to zoom out or in.
Revenue is calculated from order line items (quantity × price), so it reflects catalog sales rather than shipping or adjustments.
Orders bar chart
The bar chart compares order volume and revenue for the same grouping. It is useful for spotting a strong week or a slowdown.
New vs returning customers
The customer breakdown pie chart splits customers into:
- New — first order in the selected range.
- Returning — ordered before the range.
Top products
The top-products chart ranks products by revenue for the selected range. Use it to decide what to feature, restock, or promote.
Range and grouping
- Range controls the time window.
- Grouping controls the bucket size in the charts.
- Changing either control refreshes all charts.
Analytics reads live order data. If a chart looks wrong, check the order status, payment state, and the selected date range first.
