Shipping and delivery

Shipping rates live under Settings → Shipping. Prolifto uses a per-wilaya rate table; there is no carrier API integration, so tracking numbers are entered manually.

Delivery methods

• Home delivery — the carrier delivers to the customer's address.
• Stopdesk — the customer collects the order from a carrier desk.

Each wilaya has a separate price for each method, plus an optional free-shipping threshold.

Set rates for one wilaya

1. Open Settings → Shipping.
2. Find the wilaya.
3. Enter the Home delivery price and Stopdesk price in the store currency.
4. Optionally set Free shipping over. Leave it empty to always charge shipping.
5. Set the rate to Active.
6. Save.

Set rates for every wilaya

Use Set rates for all wilayas to apply the same prices to every wilaya, then fine-tune individual rows afterwards.

How the checkout uses rates

1. The customer selects a wilaya and a delivery method.
2. Prolifto looks up the active rate for that wilaya and method.
3. If no active rate exists, delivery is unavailable for that combination.
4. If the subtotal is at or above the free-shipping threshold, shipping is free.
5. Otherwise the configured price is charged.

Rates are stored per store, so different stores can have different pricing.

Currency

Shipping prices use the store's base currency. The default and recommended currency for the Algerian market is DZD.

Fulfilment and tracking

Shipping rates are independent of fulfilment:

• Add the carrier and tracking number on the order page.
• Save and mark shipped moves the order to Shipped.
• You can update tracking details later without changing the status.

Free shipping

You can offer free shipping in two ways:

• Set a Free shipping over threshold on a rate.
• Create a Free shipping coupon.

The coupon wins over the rate: if a free-shipping coupon is applied, shipping is free regardless of the threshold.
