Team and permissions

Invite teammates and understand the owner, admin, and member roles.

Prolifto uses organization roles. Every member of a store has one role: Owner, Admin, or Member.

Permissions are enforced on the server. If a button is missing or an action is rejected, your role does not include that permission.

Invite a teammate

  1. Open Settings → Members.
  2. Select New Member.
  3. Enter the person's email address.
  4. Choose a role: Admin or Member.
  5. Send the invitation.

The invitation goes to the email address. Pending invitations are listed on the page; you can resend or cancel them before they are accepted.

Change a role

  1. Open Settings → Members.
  2. Use the member's menu and choose Change role.
  3. Select the new role and confirm.

Changes take effect immediately. Demoting an owner requires another owner to remain in the store.

Remove a member

Use Remove member from the member's menu. Access is revoked immediately.

Members can also choose Leave organization from the same menu. The last owner cannot leave; transfer ownership to another member first.

Transfer ownership

Ownership is transferred by promoting another member to Owner, then changing or removing the previous owner. There is no separate transfer action.

Deleting your account is blocked while you are the only owner of a store. Add or promote another owner, or delete the store, before deleting your account.

Account security

Every teammate manages their own security under Settings → Account:

  • Password changes.
  • Two-factor authentication with an authenticator app and backup codes.
  • Phone verification for the store.

Two-factor authentication is strongly recommended for owners and admins.
