Set up your store

Complete the launch checklist and publish your storefront.

The Setup page is the launch plan for a store. It shows a progress ring and six steps; each step links to the screen where you complete it.

The launch checklist

StepWhat counts as complete
Phone verificationA platform administrator has verified the store's mobile number
Store profileA store logo has been uploaded
ProductsAt least one product exists
ShippingAt least one delivery rate exists
StorefrontAt least one active product or a verified domain
First orderAt least one order exists

The "Up next" card points to the first incomplete step. You can complete the steps in any order, but the recommended sequence is the one shown in the merchant quickstart.

Verify the store phone number

  1. Open Settings → Account.
  2. Enter the store's Algerian mobile number.
  3. Submit it for review.

The number is stored in international format. While SMS verification is being rolled out, a platform administrator reviews the number manually. The setup page shows Pending review until then; you can keep working on the other steps.

Some actions, including accepting customer orders on a new store, require a verified phone number. Plan for the review when you set your launch date.

  1. Open Settings → Store.
  2. Upload a logo under Store Information.
  3. Accepted formats are JPEG, PNG, ICO, SVG, and WebP; a square image works best.

A logo is also part of the setup progress and appears on the storefront.

Publish the storefront

A storefront becomes public when it has at least one active product or a verified custom domain. The setup page shows the storefront URL:

  • A custom domain if one is verified.
  • A subdomain of the configured storefront root domain.
  • The local storefront URL in development.

Use Preview storefront to open it. If the storefront is not connected yet, see Settings for the API key and custom-domain steps.

After launch

When all six steps are complete, the setup page switches to the "Your store is ready" state. The overview then shows live sales, and the storefront can accept orders.

Troubleshooting

  • The storefront is empty. Publish a product and make sure it is both Active and Public.
  • The storefront shows an API error. Check the storefront's ORGANIZATION_SLUG, API_KEY, and NEXT_PUBLIC_API_URL values.
  • Phone verification is still pending. A platform administrator must review it; check Settings → Account for the current status.
  • Delivery is unavailable at checkout. Add an active shipping rate for the customer's wilaya.
